I wouldn’t say that this is a new beginning beginning but it is.
When I first decided that I wanted to write it wasn’t an easy road but I got on that road and began my journey. Back then things weren’t as advanced as they are now. The only social media we had was Myspace and that was really for musicians. Soon after Facebook came along but we only really used that to find friends.
But as we advanced it seemed as if things got complicated. In all actuality they didn’t. At least I don’t think so but then again I took a hiatus and all I did in that hiatus was become a mom twice and write. As I’ve slowly gotten back into the writing world there were things that I had to re-learn and things that I had to learn. I did all that learning long the way. I had a plan but it wasn’t a set plan. Do I have one now? Yes and no. I’m just going to continue to do things my way and I will continue to keep learning.
I know a year from now or maybe five years from now I could be re-writing this same piece but from a different point of view. Who knows?!
But for now, I’m going to say for the second, third or fourth time, here’s to a new beginning!
