Have you ever had surgery? What for?
I’ve had two surgeries in my lifetime. The first is kind of funny. I was known as the greedy magpie when I was younger. There was never a need to ask me if I was hungry because I was always going to say yes. One weekend, my mother’s job had a BBQ, and she asked me if I wanted to go? I told her no because I wasn’t feeling well. She left me alone. That entire Saturday, I did not eat. That Sunday, my mom asked me again if I was hungry and how I was feeling. My stomach was still bothering me, and I wasn’t hungry. Later that evening, since I still wasn’t eating, my mother made sure I had on clean underwear and took me to the ER. By 8 p.m., I was headed to surgery. After being asked a million and one questions and finding out that I wasn’t pregnant. It was determined that my appendix was about to burst, and they needed to remove it before it happened. That was the Sunday night that In Living Color first came on.
My next surgery was my c-section with my first son. The plan was to push him put, but at this point, he moved around so much that the Dr’s said it would be best to have a c-section.
Both scars are pretty much next to each other as well.
